Chairman's MESSAGE
As we approach nearly four decades in the history of Alpine Banks, we are continually reminded of our need to not only be
partners with our communities, but also partners with our environment. In this fourth annual Environment Report, we document
our cumulative efforts toward greening the banks and being a positive environmental partner with our communities. As our
environmental culture quickly matures, we are pleased to note that we are making solid gains that can be documented and
measured. We have ambitious goals to reduce our overall power consumption significantly by January 1, 2012.
Other initiatives, such as our shred days, have resonated well with our communities, and are enthusiastically embraced by our
employees. Our Green Team is always looking for ways to improve our environm
